Default 1971 Pontiac Ventura

I had an old VW field buggy and an old beetle to hack around with but my first real car was a decent 1971 Pontiac Ventura. Cottonwood green metallic with the deluxe matching green interior. Bought it from my father when he got a new car in '75. Did everything with that car. We saw every corner of the province by the time I was 18. The abuse that poor car took. And it kept coming back for more. When iI traded it in for a POS Ford (my father's advice), I walked away and couldn't look back.
I still miss that car.

1953 Mercury two-tone (reverse color scheme in photo)
It was not a four-door, but a three-door. The old guy who owned it fixed the rt rear door latch by inserting several sheet metal screws through the door into the frame.

My dad bartered with the old guy. He traded our old used (and rusty) bargain basement BBQ grill for it. It was worth every cent!!!

ALso, it had a 351 Lincoln mill in it. What a tank!!!

a 1968 MGA roadster with wire wheels (in 1968). I had a job at the carwash and thought I was rich! That car wouldn't go 100mph off of a cliff. Fun though, with racing stripes and dual straight through exhaust.

Turquoise with red & black strips.
