Ahhh there's just nothing quite like watching two jet powered dragsters staging....at night!

(marshmallows anyone?)







This is just before the 330 ft mark...



They're a little...umm...LOUD!



This was just a hoot 'n a half:




That thing does a wheelstand the entire 1/4 mile...shooting sparks everywhere.

They had snowmobiles out last night also (appropriate for Colorado I suppose). One of these things did the 1/4 mile in about 9.5 seconds! That guy's nuts...

I got to see a "jet powered" 18 wheeler several years back at Houston Raceway park, but I was thinking that it had 3 jet engines on it. It sure was impressive!

Oh yeah I've seen pictures of that thing, but never in person.

I haven't seen the school bus run, but I did see a fire truck (well, sort of anyway) ride a wheelie down the 1/4 mile track. You're right..........they've got nerves of steel.

Well the wheelstander is one thing...he does the 1/4 in about 14 seconds, but at least has a roll cage!

The snowmobiles are just crazy...9.5 seconds and NO protection whatsoever.
