Default 43,000 horsepower. Yes, 43,000 horsepower

What do you get when you combine American and Canadian know-how and experience? You get this.

The North American Eagle is challenging the world's land speed record and aims for an 800 mph run.

This project has been on-going for many years now, and has been featured in programs on the Discovery Channel, The Tonight Show, and the National Geographic Channel. Here's Jay Leno out for a look-see.

And, some innovative technology is going along for the ride........like a braking system based on magnets!!!

What's the letter designation on the tire that says that the speed rating is 800+ MPH?
