You should slide broadside across that finish line, thoroughly used up, worn out, leaking oil, and shouting, "Geronimo!!"

Look for older threads. I asked the same question a few months ago. I may be easier to cut yours and bolt it back into place. Let me know if you find an easier way.

Van Steel custom-made one for us for our '67 "King Ray" 572 project about a year ago; don't know if they've made any more since or not.

JohnZ,,, you are the MAN. Art from Van Steel is sending me a cross member and brackets on Monday. This Tremec 5 speed is a pain in the BUTT it keeps getting stuck in 4th gear just accelerating on the highway. This will make it a lot easier to get out and send it back..Thanx again!!

Bowtie Overdrive make one for a c-3 and it will work on a c-2 also. The Vansteel looks more like stock.

What did the cross member set you back? My Tremec has to come out as well and I really don't want to pull the motor. Mine has the opposite problem; it likes to jump out of gear. It is also very loud and very hard to shift. Keisler said they would go thru it if I took it out. Let me know how it turns out. I'm wishing I'd gone with the Richmond at this point.

I think it was $125.00 plus 2 brackets. Van Steel (Art) I lot cheaper than pullin the motor
