My Corvette(s):
1999 Magnetic Red Coupe, 6 speed, Z06 Ti Exhaust
Default 1st to 4th shift

My car has a 6 speed. At low RPM's from 1st gear, it trys to force me into 4th gear. What's the deal with this? I suppose it's to save gas, but it drives me crazy. Is there a way to get around this aggravating inconvenience?

Well worth the $30 and 30 minutes to install it. It is very easy to install, once you get the car up far enough to get underneath. Be sure to use jackstands for safety!

I installed mine when it had 7/10 of a mile on the odometer and no regrets at 50,000 miles.

It's the right thing to do !
