Default 184.150 heads on 283

Anyone have any good things to say on putting the vortec 305 heads on 283?
I have baseline 61 230 hp with PG tranny

I don't think there are any Vortec-compatible intakes that will fit under your hood, and those heads won't accept any non-Vortec intakes.

I have about 9 and a nik inch clearence from top of block to bottom of hood (closed) I found intake from Pro products with a cyclone vortec intake at 4 inches from back to carb deck, carb/filter is around 4 somthing.

i know its going to be tight but at this point im looking at numbers from the heads as far as flow is concerned with 184 valve from 170 and stock baseline cam.

I would just like to hear if anyone else had any good things come from their swap, IM keeping all my numbers correct stuff I just would like to update with a little 21st century.

Strike the 9 inch clearence, I have a little over 11 inch..plenty Once again people Im not looking for 0 to 60 times, this car is all numbers correct and I just want a little 21st century add on
