This photo of Rascal_rascal_99 (Charlie) is a good example of the weather we were driving in. In fact, we were driving in the "clouds" when we weren't driving in the rain. :L

Beautiful shots.

You missed a heck of a drive to the falls. It was beautiful. I didn't get back to the top of the dragon until 6:00 am.

I'm looking forward to seeing photos from the Waterfall cruise too. We hated to miss that, but we didn't get home until nearly 6 last night as it was and we were exhausted!

Honestly it was a very long drive there and back but well worth it. I may have gotten lost but i put 400 miles on the car that day and i live 40 miles from the dragon.

Not nearly the photo opportunities that there were last year, and no copilot snapping pic's...which can be a bit hard to do while driving at the same time, but here's a taste of what I took.

Actually there's 8 vid clips and for some reason I'm only being able to load five of them...I'll do something about hosting them all later and update all ya'll as to where they're at.

If you look near the top center of this shot you can see what had to be about a 5-6 pound large mouth

We'd split up after that, was a wonderfully fun day and I want to say thank you to Sal, Steve, John and Paula for following me...I know others would have too if it hadn't been for lack of time. The rest of these shots I got on the way home, after we'd all split up.

Great photos! Come out to Colorado this summer for lots of photo ops. For those who have never been to the "rockies" they are a much different type of mountains than what there is in the east. Not taking anything away from the "Dragons Tail", I want to do that in my Vette someday, just saying that they are a different type of scenery.

Nothing really major, air intake has a couple of modifications to get more air in smoother, 165f thermostat, MSD ignition box and coil (have an MSD opti ready to put in when the one in the car goes, not going to touch it while it's still running good though) hypertech tune chip, 2 1/2" dual exhaust with no resonator and flowmasters...right now it's a true dual exhaust, I keep thinking about going back and having an X pipe put in but haven't done it yet.

Was fun meeting you, sorry your navigator didn't enjoy the weekend more!

Thanks Charlie. I found out what was causing it to run poorly. A spark plug wire had come loose at the cap somewhere coming 'up' the dragon. I didn't find it until after the falls. It ran awesome the remainder of the trip

I really enjoyed the day together even though I was a say late. I guess better late than never.

Whoever this photographer is, they didn't even get any shots on the 6th of those of us that ran through the dragon that day unless I'm missing some pic's somewhere? ;shrug

That's what I thought but then I thought maybe I had missed something. I only found 2 photos of mine at killboy.com. ;squint: I'm hoping to find more when Zeefoto posts their's.

That's what I thought Charlie. I seen someone taking out pictures on Sunday, I just don't know who.

Gry Ghst, you missed a great time on Sunday. We ran the Dragon a lot harder. It was a BLAST. Sorry about your copilot, hope she is better. Paula didn't have any problems on Sunday. She was ready to run it again. :rotfl

That was so much fun in that car that I called Vette Brakes today and am ordering a beefier suspension for the car.

I know one thing.... next time I'll bring up the rear if necessary, and everyone can go ahead without me. At least one run anyway. Being bunched up and driving it faster than I did last summer means I got a total of 2 photos of my car to choose from... and I don't particularly think either of them are great photos either.

We definitely will, and you'll have a room this time...at the correct hotel! ;LOL

But what I want to know, is how much trouble did you really have driving, obviously you ran off the road a few times as seen here (http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/OrderPage.aspx?pi=04RK00AN000744&po=744&c=) :L ...actually I think that's a really cool shot! What I don't get, is that of the four of us that rolled by, you're the only one that got pictures taken of on sunday!:W
