Default gas tank

i have to remove the gas tank the line coming out is leaking right by FRAME ON TO THE MUFFLER anything i need to no before i start it looks like theres a rubber hose there, that is lecking...there is still gas in it should keep it in ..

Not unless you want to spill it all over the place. Syphon it out as you wish. I just pulled my tank out today and did the same.

I would drain the tank before you disconnect the lines.
If your line you are replacing is a short piece by the frme, you could use a clamp upstream to pinch the flow off. But otherwise, you are going to have a continuous gravity flow of gas from the tank coming out on you.
