My Corvette(s):
84 two tone bronze coupe 85 black on black
Default How to remove the black moldings?

How do you remove the black molding strip that runs around the whole car on the 84-90 vettes?

Do you have to take the whole interior apart?

No, but you'll have to take the Bumpers Off!! 1- 10 mm Nut in Inside jam front of door and rear of door Push clipped in center,2 Nuts backside of Dog Leg on Qtr panel!!I think there is 4 in side fenders each! Carefully these can (will) twist out and break easy!!!! The bumpers you cant get to them all with them on the car,This Part Really Inhales!!!!!!
