Where the heck were you?

Yesterday's rain washed most of the salt off the road, and today it was sunny and in the 40s. So I uncovered the beast and we headed out for the open road. Figured I'd see at least ONE other corvette, but nadda, nothing, zip, el zorro :confused .

Man it fealt good to have her out on the road again :upthumbs . Nothin' like runnin' her thru the gears. It's an amazing machine and scary fast :chuckle .

Tomorrow it will be sunny and dry again around Madison, and will likely hit 50. Let's see some spirit out there fellow cheeseheads :D !

Even with two days of 40s there is still a 3 ft deep snow drift in front of the vette's garage door, and the roads are a sloppy mess.It is gonna be just about a week before mine gets on the road. :ugh

I had both the 68 and the 97 out yesterday, the roads are bumpy to say the least around here and the 68 went dead on me; the battery cable end popped off the terminal when I hit a bump :ohnoes I'll put new ones on today and try again.

Had mine out Saturday as well. Had to get an inspection done and then tuck her back into the garage. The Vette LOVES this cool whether!!

It was well into the 90's at the weekend with glorious sunshine over here in Singapore, pity I don't have a Vette to enjoy it, just had to sit on the beach and drink beer.

Thanks Jane Ann, it felt great gettin her out of storage and taken it out for a stretch....As for the avatar, A friend made fun of my home town hockey team after they brought a "goon" into the team....a move I personally will never understand... so he started into me about cavemen playing here (and thats how we have become one of the GREATEST franchises ever in the NHL;) ) so he made me the snappy avatar and i play along....he even turned it into the fans being cavemen!
Folks this is a man that needs to get out in his Corvette, if the snow has melted enough to find the shovels!!:rotfl

Hey, Chas-bro,
It's 72 glorious degrees here in sunny, beautiful Colorado today. The 18-foot pile of snow in the round-about in front of my townhome has now completely melted away. The roads are clear and dry, and it's just too nice to leave the Vette in the garage. The Z06 took me work, took me lunch, and will soon be taking me home. Trust me, I'm getting my Corvette fix. :cool

And the Corvette fix has nothing to do with drawing attention to Detroit's perpetual NHL thug quotient. The Red Wings have had this issue a while- why do you think the "Gordie Howe Hat Trick" includes a fight?

From my apartment it costs me about 4 Sing dollars to get to the beach about 2 US dollars, with all the money I save I might just buy another Vette when or if I ever get back to the UK.

Sunshine on Saturday-had both cars out (finally!) for the first time this year. Taking a day of vac on Friday to clean and polish-forecast is 50 and sunshine for this weekend!
