PC love

[Vanity Plate Bob]

Does your PC love U more when U shut it down for a period of time say overnite or longer? This was addressed a couple years ago. Someone presented a long list of whys pro and con coming to the conclusion that it can have benefits pro and con.
Any thoughts for or against?

I only shut down overnight about once every two weeks. Constant temps is hardware friendly. Cooling and heating, in my opinion, is hard on hardware especially hard drives.If I know I will not be using my computer for a few days I shut it off. I feel it is like an engine, cold starts produces the most wear.
