Potentially, but any vehicle that manages to hydroplane is pretty much up to the laws of physics at that point...
Not say that he's excused for hydroplaning in the first place. One needs to be aware of potential road conditions. But sometimes they are unavoidable. I hit some black ice on Monday. I was already driving slow at the time, but nonetheless, there was nothing that would've given me indication it was there.
Devil's advocate. :reddevil

Those narrower "B" roads in England can be trecherous at this time of year even in something with a quarter of the horse power you could find yourself in trouble, you get a lot of standing water running off the fields and leaves from the trees, blind bends and so on and you can find yourself in all sorts of trouble at fairly low speeds, not the ideal mode of transport for the day, he should have stuck to his Range Rover ;)

Fugly....:D

And that's describing it before it got wrecked! :L

What the heck is up with those red doors...it looks like it's colored like you'd see here when someone wrecks a car, put's on body pieces from a junkyard that were a different color and never had anything repainted!

You buy a car like that and then rent it out to someone? That isn't very bright to begin with. How many of us would let someone else drive our Vettes?

Dude.... That car is plain fugly..Where are the styling clues. It using the old "Oval" styling concepts. Round this and that. It might as well be a Ford Taurus ..Fugly..!!

Nowhere does it say ..I look like a 1000 HP car or I cost a lot of buckies. What it does say is...I look like a rice burner or a Japanese concept car...Fugly..!!;LOL

Now this is 1000 HP With Styling..American Style

Where are the styling clues. It using the old "Oval" styling concepts. The "oval" isn't a styling concept. It's an application of a physics law. (If I recall correctly, the shape of a falling raindrop is considered to be the perfect shape for a friction coefficient nearest to Zero.)
The Veyron puts function before fashion. The Cadillac doesn't give as much weight to function. That's one of the reasons why it's still in prototype / non-production. The Veyron was engineered among other things to have the least amount of drag, while still having enough downforce to keep it from getting airborne as it approaches top speed. Those likely weren't the highest considerations when developing the Cadi because it wasn't conceptualized to function that way.

Regardless, as we all know, beauty is in the eyes of the beer holder... :beer

As stated above... You are 100% Correct in regards to Physics....And Beauty is in fact in the eye of the Beer Holder;LOL

The whole and glorified story was in Yesterday's SUN. According to the SUN the car was being driven by the owner's brother and the owner is ****ed off about the accident.:eyerole

That is as exciting as a Brit paper without a page 3 girl can get.;LOL
