Too cool!! :cool When I was a kid there was a group that flew RC planes in a field near our house every Sunday afternoon - weather permitting. I always enjoyed watching those things fly!

Very good. This man with the B-29 and the X-1 plane and with all of the manuevers is a total air show! :)

My boss flies those kind of things. I guess he's been to the World (Whatever) Championships a couple times representing the USA and is ranked highly in the US. However, I've never actually seen substantiated proof of his claims, other than seeing a plane or two of his own. Anyways... that clip is from 2003. Have any of you seen the video clip of that R/C helicopter from 2005 in Vegas? THAT is some crazy flying! You can do a search for "Alan Szabo Jr" I believe is his name. YouTube him, he's out there... Here's one of the YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iWIRGaBoZI) videos of him

I think that I caught a ride off of KY Ha in a Huey that Szabo guy was flying back in '70.;LOL

I used to fly pretty decent aerobatics in real airplanes. When I tried it with RC it was always crash and burn. I do not know how they stay orientated without a real horizon view from the airplane.:confused

Here is a :BOWto both of those jocks.

I showed that B29 video to my boss. He said that he was at the event where that plane met it's eventual demise in 2005 or 2006. (I don't recall now what year he said.)

He's currently at the desk next to me talking R/C planes with a co-worker. :eyerole

Here's a link that you guys might find interesting... it was for the Top Gun 2006 (http://www.franktiano.com/TopGunFrameset.htm) event. You can check out the photo gallery and stuff.
