My Dad has told me stories of when he came home from Vietnam, and the only people happy to see him were is parents.

Occasionally I will have to go out and do something in uniform, and almost with out fail some stranger will come up to me, shake my hand and say "thank you".

I wish my Dad could have experienced something like that.
