Recieved first post-OBC assignment

I just got my RFO (Request for Orders) for my first assignment after I finish my schools here at Benning. I'll be going toFort Campbell, KY to serve with the 3rd Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division. I've heard good things both about the Screaming Eagles in general and then in particular about 3rd Brigade (Rakkasans) so I'm excited. Any current or recent members?

Congrats of your first assignment. When I was at Ft. Bragg with the 82nd we use to call the 101st..100 and worst:L. I'm sure they had a lovely name for us as well. I did get to do a JRTC rotation with the 3rd BDE several years ago. With the exception of having to re-cock one of the scenarios, they did a great job. Of course, the OPFOR at these places (NTC, JRTC) tend to have the best of stuff to work over the rotation guys.
