Gregory, The gearing of the transmission has the motor in the drone "sweet spot" six times on the way to sixth gear and near or on that spot in sixth, depending on the speed. The only thing that absolutely kills the drone is back pressure. That's why most any exhaust with less back pressure than stock is a problem. The only aftermarket system I've heard without any drone has a very large "resonator" (Large tubular muffler in front of the cat backs). GHL has a model that minimizes drone with patented baffling, but there is still a little resonance, which they clearly explain when ordering.
