GHL C5 and C6 systems rock! They even make a special paddleshifter system that eliminates MOST of the inherent drone of the 6sp auto. The sound and quality of the GHL exhausts are...

Just wondering: how are the paddleshifters involved with the drone?

Gregory, The gearing of the transmission has the motor in the drone "sweet spot" six times on the way to sixth gear and near or on that spot in sixth, depending on the speed. The only thing that absolutely kills the drone is back pressure. That's why most any exhaust with less back pressure than stock is a problem. The only aftermarket system I've heard without any drone has a very large "resonator" (Large tubular muffler in front of the cat backs). GHL has a model that minimizes drone with patented baffling, but there is still a little resonance, which they clearly explain when ordering. Rich

Thanks so much for your explanation, Rich. I had no idea at all.

A good vendor will always "educate" their customers. Too bad there are so many folks in business who are only interested in the original sale.

GHL certainly sounds (no pun intended) like a very reputable company. Wish I was in the market for one of their products.
