It has flown over the Nations Capital in Washington. Received it from a Congressman from the area who heard of my son Ben's upcoming deployment to IRAQ. We received a flag with a certificate and a warm letter from our Congressman.:pat I will post the pics as soon as I get a chance.
When Ben gets home , he will have a nice family heirloom to pass on to his children.

Chas,

Very cool indeed. The fact it came to you unsolicited is most telling. This service provided by most members of the Legislative Branch is usually reserved for military and civil service retirements, but it must be formally requested on behalf of the individual, and in many cases, pay for the flag. You can also request to have the flag flown just about anywhere. Your loyal patriotism has not only influenced a proud son to serve his country, but also has extended beyond your family and rewarded you with such a precious gift. Congratulations and display it proudly.
