1987 Condition

Problem with my 1987 Vette aircondition, the heater works as it should with the blower working to blow hot air through the vents, but the aircondition keeps cutting off, even though the setting has not been satified.

Is the compressor kicking in and out ? If so you are low on freon.

I have a 1987also the heater blows fine but the a/c does not I took it to the shop and the results were the evaparator core it will cost $600.00
That will be done next spring since it's getting painted now........ Hope this helps you

Had the same problem with my '87. The freon was low
