05 Daytona Sunset Conv. & 02 Electron Blue Conv.
Default Very Last of the 1966 Corvettes Found!!!

Mike Milian, owner of Corvette Mike New England, and Lynn Haas, well-known Corvette restorer and collector, are in the process of writing a new chapter in Corvette history.

They've found the LAST 1966 Corvette built! The car's VIN number is 194376S127720. It is a Silver Pearl coupe with black leather interior. Other options include: 427/390HP Engine, Factory Air Conditioning, Full Tinted Glass, Side Exhaust, Knock-Off Wheels, Gold Line Tires, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Teak Telescopic Wheel.

This is a 3-owner car documented by the original Protector Plate and Owner Packet. This car is presently undergoing a complete, no expense spared, frame-off restoration.

Please stay tuned for more photos and updates of this exciting chapter in Corvette history, as it unfolds.

All we need is the last '63, '64 and '65 and we'll have a set.

You can follow the progress of this Corvette by going to the site I've set up to show the progress of the restoration. I will edit the site and post pictures, as the restoration progresses.

The site is: www.thelast66Corvette.com

More hype to raise the selling price of a car.

Got lots of folks interested in seeing the progress of the car. Will continue to post pics and stories.
What's amazing is that you know the car is forsale, when it isn't. Better shake that crystal ball again Gary and wait till the little white specs settle, and read'er again.

Funny how the last 66 and the last 67 have many of the same options, do you suppose that Chevy did that on purpose or just a really weird coincidence?

So, your going to get it Top Flight certified and then not sell it? Wonderful. You are getting a great car and a great find. I'm sure you will enjoy driving it for the next few years. It just sounded like you were jumping on the Pro Team bandwagon with their so called "Last Corvette".

Here is my LAST 63. The pics look surprisingly familiar except that I don't have all the bûll shÎt hype surrounding mine.

Stepinwolf

O yes, I forgot to say that I had the correct fenders on mine.

That '63 was one of the early big-block prototypes too, right Robert?

Bob, you are absolutely right.

Another thing worth mentioning, is that this particular Corvette, was also the test bed for the bubble hood, the 5 slotted gills, and the first example of the back-up lights being installed over the license plate, but that did not make it into production until 5 years later.

Information is invaluable, BS is always around for free, that's why I am always so pleased to share it with everyone.

P.S. Got those three other Corvettes in this week, will post a few pictures this weekend.
