Default Cradle for a 4 speed?

I'm planning to rebuild the 4 spd trans this winter. It strikes me it might be easier to move and work on it if I make up a cradle to hold it. Has anyone ever done this?

If so, would you have any photos or drawings you could share?

Thanks in advance,

John

Could you use an engine stand, with the 4 speed bolted to the bell housing? The main case doesn't come apart, does it? If it just has a side plate and the tail comes off, you could probably use an engine stand that way, right? I haven't had one in years, just trying to remember how they are.
