Default Weird DIC readings, Pull key wait 10 secs. inoperative turnsignals,

Dear all knowing OZ- I mean c4c5 specialist, Paul,
I fear I may have a computer issue with the body module in my 2000 coupe. In the last three days the following things have happened:

Pull Key wait ten seconds. - on the DIC

Alarm went off inadvertently, difficult to shut it off

Turn signals all of a sudden will not work, then after I push the emergency flasher button, they do, but they will all of a sudden not work in TRAFFIC - not good!

Add washer fluid warning. I did have to add about 3 quarts.

I had the column lock recall done last winter, where they completely removed the solenoid lock from under the dash, and put in a new harness under there.

Does this sound like a body module issue? I have a Optima Red Top battery.

Help!

HI there,
It really sounds like there is a few different issues here.
First, what is your battery voltage, it must be at least 12.5 volts with the engine not running.
Second, if there is still a concern with the pull key wait 10 sec, please disconnect the negative battery terminal for 15 mins to clear all diagnostic codes and reattach. Torque battery terminal bolts to 11 ft lbs.
Third, a hazard switch is a common issues on Corvette for both turn signals inoperative or brake light problems.
This would be separate from the other issues you have.
The alarm, could be a door ajar switch or trunk switch that might have opened. Was the interior lights on when this occured??
Allthebest,

Thanks Paul. As they say in the Boston area- you're a wicked nice guy, and sure as hell know your 'vettes!
