My Corvette(s):
76 Coupe
Default Finally got tranny in

Well the old 76 is now a modern highway burner with the 700R4. Runnin 2250 RPM at 70 MPH. Getting decent 19 MPG. Still don't have the lockup convertor locking up yet. Haven't quite decided how to do that.

P.S. Just got my new computer going yesterday, and divorce is progressing. What a stressful summer. And I am an old member to CAC, just the wife took the computer back in April.

Curtis,
Congrats on your transmission project progress. Now you can start on a 1990-ish C4 style fuel injection project to complete the setup .

Sorry to hear of your woes, you've got a stronger character than me if you can mod a vette in the midst of that struggle.

You're an old CAC member with 2 posts ??

regards

Apparently I have been deleted due to inactivity. She took the puter with her. so had to sign up as new member again. I think I first came to this sight in late 2003

Don't worry Curtis, we still remember you.
Glad to here you're motivating again.
I got a B&M lockup module for my 82 that you can select the speed you want to lockup over and lockout under. Still haven't installed it yet, but someday.
