Default Power seat side bolsters don't work

Hi all,

The side bolsters on the drivers seat do not adjust. When I press the button, the motor hums in both directions. But nothing happens. All the rest of the seat functions work.

For a guy who, one of his favorite features is the cinch feature on the lap belt, you can see how this bothers me a little

HI there,
The bladder is most likely split.
Very expensive from GM, you might want to try the aftermarket.
Allthebest,

Ouch. Thanks for the reply. Someone said there might also be a split or kink in the air line. Is checking for these possibilities a major production?

I'm sorry to keep beating a dead horse. But what kind of money are we talking about, ballpark. And is this a backyard mechanic possibility, or more like an upholstery shop deal as opposed to dealership thing?

Thanks again,
Mike
