I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone from the Corvette Action Centre whom I met during Carlisle this year. I hope you didn't mind me gate crashing your hotel each evening but my hotel was in a dry area which explained why it didn't have a bar!!! (a point to remember for next year).
I made some really great friends this year, and I was going to say that you guys are "awesome" but that is an overused and devalued word - instead you guys are SPOT ON (Remo will explain).
I hope to see you all again next year.
Special thanks have to go to Guy as he was the one who emailed me originally inviting me into the fold.
Incidentally - I may be looking to buy a 2003/4 very low mileage yellow Z06 - if anyone knows of one can you let me know please.
Best wishes to you all

Rich,
It was great meeting you, and we look forward to having you join our nightly gathering next year!!
By the way, I'll keep my eyes open for that yellow ZO6 for you. :)

Rich,
So the truth comes out....your hotel was dry. ;LOL Sorry, I couldn't resist.
Thank YOU for joining our little band of Corvette bothers and sisters. You
were a welcome addition and I enjoyed your company. Let's hope you can join us again next year.
Cheers to Rich - YOU are spot on. :beer

Nice to meet you,Rich...Cheerio!!!
Rich,
What a pleasure it was to meet you and discuss all sorts of subjects. You're quite right - the expression "awesome" is over used in this country and at this point has become so diluted it means absolutely nothing. I'm disappointed that you're going to continue with this "yellow" nonsense. If you must purchase another Corvette, now would be an excellant time to pick a more reasonable color. After all, those yellow cars have become just sort of "awesome" - if you get my drift.
Next year bring your wife and the six of us can spend some time visiting before heading to Carlisle.

Larry,
I'm not sure what this has to do with the subject at hand?!

Firstly, you may recall that I had a slowsilver C5 once but it had to go.
Secondly, I'll have to think very carefully about introducing my dear wife to you.
Thirdly (and as requested by Larry's Yellow Rdstr although I know not why...) here is a picture of my wife, Jeannie, at Le Mans this year with Doug Fehan. I am looking on in total horror. Sorry about the size of the picture.
Incidentally, Jeannie and I celebrate 25 years of marriage next Tuesday.

Rich,
It was a pleasure to meet you at Carlisle this year. Thank you for joining us at our Hotel and for suffering through a few pitchers of American Brew. I enjoyed chatting and hope we can meet up again next year.
Nice Corvette Shirts, Mate!
Cheers,
Jeff
Rich,
It was also a pleasure to meet you.
I'm glad you could make it to Carlisle.
:)
You are welcome at any bar I go to, had a blast and thanks for cheering me on and the compliment for the burnout. Hope to see you next year, but are you sure Remo understood the "Spot On"? He might be pouting at the idea of you wanting a Z in this color. ;)

It's me again, thinking about next years Carlisle and which hotel should I book. I suppose now is as good a time as any before everything gets booked up. Should I go for the Holiday Inn or will I find it deserted as you guys have moved on elsewhere to avoid the English Bloke?
I suppose what I'm trying to say is are you intending to be at the Holiday Inn again in 2007?

Rich,
We've been staying at that Holiday Inn for 4-5 years and plan on going back every year. We'd be offended if you didn't stay there with us for it was a great time. The question is, "Can you put up with US again?" ;)
