Lance,
As usual, I had a great time. Except for some drizzle on Sunday, the weather this year was very comfortable. Terrific event - keep up the good work.

Lance,
We also loved this year's event!! Although I wasn't able to do all of our traditional social activities because I was wearing a different hat (vendor) this time, I did enjoy seeing that side of the Corvettes at Carlisle!! Cannot wait until 2007.
You and your staff do an outstanding job!:)

Everything is great. NCRS needs to be inside the gate. Can we get rid of the cars and trucks driving up and down the flea market area, very dangerous? Ken-
He was stuck in traffic... he eventually did make it, but it was way to late in the game. Oh well...

Had a great time Lance. Regret missing meeting GS Diva while there, but spoke to her husband for a little bit and took a nice photo of his beautiful vette as I did the last time I was there in '04

I'm so sorry we didn't have a chance to meet, but it seems I spent most of the weekend in Building "T" with two Grand Sport coupes!!;) Next year, I'm going to be more on the social side of the weekend rather than the vendor side!

Would have been a great Carlisle if someone hadn't poured paint remover all over the back end of a beautiful '65 red convertible.
Maybe if security actually did something. like petrol the site, "say once every24 hours", to protect the cars left on site over night.
The Carlisle people should be drawn and quartered for how they handle this incidence. The gentle who's car was damage was left to fend for himself. You would have expected someone from Carlisle production would have met with him to offer some help.
This Corvettes at Carlisle enthusiast is certainly going to re-evaluate whether to attend another Carlisle event.

6T7-
I personally met with the owner of this car (with Bill Miller - partner of Carlisle) and passed on our apologies. Unfortunately there's absolutely nothing we can do first hand but say sorry. Fortunately that is what insurance is for and we personally spoke to Hagerty which said it WILL be covered. So all in all it was handled. The funny thing is there was a full story behind this incident which most everyone that walked by the car did not know or hear - I don't want to spread it all over the internet at this time (if the owner of the car would like to - go for it). It's unfortunate that these things happen anywhere, but they do and we're fortunate to have insurance out there that handles these situations.
By the way, we have 24/7 security and they do patrol our grounds during these hours. We can not watch each individual car 24/7 as I'm sure you understand why (way to many cars). I've had much worse happen to one of my cars in a school parking lot - unfortunately these things happen, was I ****ed - of course I was. If the punk that broke my windshield can sleep soundly at night doing something like this so be it, I know I couldn't. Life isn't always perfect, but it sure is good!
It's easy to fix things like this - I'm happy and very fortunate to have my health and good friends. Life is good!
Have a great weekend,
Lance

there has to be a story as to why that one particular car was chosen to be vandalised. out of all the years i have been attending this event this is the first time i saw or heard about anything happening to a car there. i take mine back to the hotel ...never leave it there....i figure that walk back is a killer... anyway..i hope that guy gets his car repaired to his satisfaction and something like that doesnt happen again....

I thought it was odd that just that one car that was for sale was vandalized although I don't know how many other cars were in that "for sale" area over night. The owner must have been very unhappy with the damage because he even wrote about it on his windshield and as I recall the rear window too. Only his car was vandalized so I guess it was just bad luck - could have happened anywhere I suppose.
