Default Vert Top question?

Hi

My cousin called me last night and asked me what l would recommend to use on his top C6 blk top that would maintain the waterproof look! (Beading)

Strange request but when l had my boat l used something on the seams of my canvas top. I would recommend going to a boating store for help but!

Then l thought l would be better off here. He must put the top up and down on a daily basis.

My suggestion would be to do nothing unless he see's a problem with rubbing or actual leaking. I would have to guess that the canvas top is coated with a rubberized chemical and leaving it alone would be the thing to do.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Alan

HI there,
I would suggest RAGGTOPP cleaner and protectant.
That is what is factory recommended and is available at the www.corvettemuseum.com

Default I will pass the info along

I happen to agree with especially while the vert is still under warranty. One never knows with GM.

Also l feel that it's a few years away to worry about the top unless he lived in a seaside town.

Thanks
Alan
