Departing Thursday for Carlisle

The wife and I will be departing early am Thursday for Carlisle...we will be taking the non NYC route.. Mass Pike to 84 to 81. Since we take our time and hit plenty of gas stations..hahaha..Wave as you go bye...Elaine try not to blow the paint off my car when your group passes me ok? Safe journey all...See you in Carlisle

If I may be so bold as to ask...why would you want to bring your dog to this event??

The most important reason is that l would hate to leave her home alone for such a long time alone. Everybody l know will be away this weekend with their kids.

The second reason is that she spends almost as much time in my vette as l do and would love the trip.

She is also 100% trained on and off leash and loves people but that's not a valid reason. If it's going to be hot l will not take her and if you feel that it's not the right thing to do, l will try to make other arrangements.

I only plan on going for the day and when l asked earlier about taking her nobody answered.

As in years past we may see you at that plaza on the Mass Pike around 5:30 or 6:00 AM. We're going to try the Taconic Parkway this year and maybe we'll see you later on 84. This time I'll honk and wave - honest.
