got my abs/trac codes...now i need sugs...

My 2000 C5 is giving me intermittent error msg's regarding the ABS and Traction System. I had the dealer get the codes for me and they're as follows: 1243, 1234 and 1217.
C1217 BPMV Pump Motor Relay Contact CKT Open
C1234 LR Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted
C1243 BPMV Pump Motor Stalled

I've never had to troubleshoot this abs/trac system before, so does anyone have any rec's for these errors? I'm guessing replace the BPMV (connects to the EBCM i believe)...not sure about the 34 code... maybe try cleaning contacts? any ideas?

Hi there,
It is possible that you will have to replace BOTH sides, due to the 2 codes.
The wheel speed sensor code most likely will be a disconnected or shorted wheel speed sensor harness.

By both sides, i'm guessing EBCM and BPMV?

ouch.... gmpartsdirect makes that approximately $350 and $1300 each......heh, expensive for sure. Thanks for the info on the codes.
