General Motors Chairman and CEO Rick Wagoner talks with media after announcing GM will build an all-new production version of the Chevrolet Camaro Thursday, August 10, 2006 in Traverse City, Mich. The sport coupe will be nearly identical to this Camaro concept that was introduced at the North American International Auto Show earlier this year. Production will begin at the end of 2008 and the Camaro will go on sale in the first quarter of 2009.

Are you holding your breath ? I'm afraid the beancounters are going to get at it (again) and it wont look like what people seem to like (gauging from the responses here), ie. the Concept..

That’s good news, I really like the way GM styled the car. From earlier photos that were going around, the interior looked cool too.
