Venue Change ---- Venue ChangeJohnson's has been closing early due to Hot Weather..So the PLACE IS NOW "BERT'S DINER" on Grant Line Road, in Elk Grove, California. 11:00 a.m.Alright all you NOR CAL POSSE Folks
it's time we had a get together. We are almost at mid-summer and haven't BRUTALIZED anyone yet.

This is the place that our beloved G-Man (Countryblue) took SECOND PLACE with his Z06 Garage Queen, and Bill (The KING) with his ZR1 took FIRST PLACE..:eyerole :rotfl :beer

Hey all you Vetter's here's one for the books.
Our Posse buddy BILL (1990 ZR1 w/mods) decided he would BLOW THE DOORS OFF of COUNTRYBLUE (2003 Z06) Vette..:argue :r :lou

Well at the Sacramento Drag Strip, let me tell you, it was BRUTAL - JUST BRUTAL !!!!

Countryblue ran a 13.2 and our King Bill ran a 14.1 !!!!!!:eek ;shrug

Geezzzzz, when the green light came on the G-Man could have went to the restroom, bought a hotdog, ate it, flirted with the Hurst Girls, then got back in the Z06 started her up :Steer and STILL BLOWN THE DOORS OFF OF Bill's ZR1.. It was EMBARASSING !!!!!

So attached is a current picture of Bill's ZR1 that he ran against the Z06.
Also Bill has done some more MODS on the ZR1 and LOOK AT IT NOW.
Should be REALLY FAST. I still ponder whether he can beat the G-Man's Z06 with it ????:hb :BOW :nono :crazy :W :rotfl

Well Howie... I haven't asked Bill yet... it sounds to me like Bill forgot to turn the power key on... otherwise that car should run solid 12's... That means it walks the Z06 all the way down the track...

Yoda will be GREATLY Disappointed if YOU and BLACKDOG whimp out ;) on it ;squint:

The POSSE is a little slow coming out of hybernation over here, so we're a bit cranky right now.

HOWIE has been AWOL since birth, so no tellin' what the hell he's been doing. :eyerole

G-man finally got the 1000th coat of polish on the garage queen, so he's ready to blind 'em all. :cool

King of the Hill Bill finally found the power switch on the ZR-1 , and turned it on. :lou

and the SHERIFF is rounding up the POSSE for a few invasions.

So ... it's the Rocky Mountain State for '07 ?? O.K. Andre ... BLENDERFEST ?? - LET'S JUST PLAN ON KICKIN IT UP A COUPLE OF NOTCHES :beer :upthumbs !! Yoda ... keep me posted when more info gets posted. I'm in ... and I'll drag some of THE POSSE along.

Time to go dust off the BLACKDOG for the show in Copperopolis tomorrow.

Yo ... Andre !! My 1980 homey !! Yeah, a lot of lost time since the 1st BLENDERFEST. I still remember quite clearly pulling into BG around midnight or so back in '02. I was thinking, damn, I'm so late...ain't no one gonna be up. I pull in to the lot and there you are, drink in hand, waiting to greet us late arrivals. I'll never forget it! And I have the video still of the lil' poolside toga blenderwars! Drinking margaritas and straight up tequila! Phew! Funny, I don't remember much more than that... :L
