It's all 6 Shooters fault....
....we swapped over to the Banana side.
Mrs 68Roadster drove her brand spanking new VY coupe home today. Took a little wrangling at the dealership but we got a great deal. I've been playing with buttons all night.
THIS CAR IS AWESOME!
I hope she racks up the 500 break in miles soon cuz I'm dying to run thru the gears with the paddles.
I'm ready D, bring on the comments!

You're assuming she's going to give it up long enough for you to drive it?
Looks great, hope ya'll love it!

Thats the sort of thing you do and don't tell anyone , you know.... Closet Yellow!
Beautiful car , Congrats !!!!!!
Its ok to stray from the White as long as you keep the only true color in your heart. You just should have never given Dwayne Ammo for his Yellow Gun!

Thanks lt4 - just to keep poking that stick at Dwayne, it's banana yellow..
rascal you nailed it, I'm pretty much Wash and Zaino Boy when it comes to her car although she did let me drive it home in the rain from the dealership. It's already dirty.
junk - although I appreciate the offer I think that little roadster's gonna be in the garage for years to come.....thats my escape mechanism and besides it doesn't have a payment book!
6 - I will, I tried it last night up to about 60 just to see how it worked. It only takes a few minutes to get used to it and the shifts are nice and smooth, granted I only went from 1st to 2nd!! I cannot wait to romp on this thing (TC off of course)
Pseudo - I knew that was coming. I do love the color though. So now Dwayne has another disciple in the bunch besides you and Chas and Erik!
BTW the striped look good!
cj5 - I hear ya brother.....I figured it was best to come right out and acknowledge the fact we jumped to the banana side rather than change my signature and profile and sit back and wait for Dwayne to start poking the stick at me....I'll always have the 'ol white roadster.
Appreciate all the kind comments.
More to follow.....

Well we have to stay together! I am sur eyou are aware of the old saw which goes, " United we stand, divided we fall."
Now as a little trivia tidbit. A guy I work with was just in Vegas where they have the drive a Corvette C6 demo for $10.00. He paid the &10.00 for the demo drive. One of the Corvette's is a six speed and what they do not tell you is that the max speed you can do is around 60 MPH and not to get out of second gear.
Now what fun is that?
They also have a track for the Hummer, complete with a 60 degree incline they park it on, which he said was well worth the $10.00

I haven't said the "L" word yet! Besides, it's her car.....
If and when I ever get a new Z06 I can guarantee ya it won't be yellow......
(and it won't be silver either!)
