Default 91 Electrical-HELP-NEWBIE

Hello and Happy 4th,
I have a just purchased 91 vert with 40,000 miles. The motor's for the conv lid are constantly activating. Pulled all fuses one a time other than the larger metal fuses. Did not stop. Disconnected all switches that activate the motors did not stop. The only time the motors will stop is when it is put in drive or when the battery is disconnected. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Randy

HI there,
There is no motor for the convertible lid, unless its aftermarket.
Please be more specific as to the location of this motor.
Allthebest, c4c5

I called them motors probably not correct. Actuators? on both sides of the areas where the top folds into. They release the lid so the top can be folded down. Three switches that open the lid. 1 in the door-1 in the arm rest-and 1 under the lid. Disconnected all of them one a time no effect.

Thanks,
Randy

Hi there,
I would check the pinch locations in the top itself, as you may find one of the trigger wires for the switch grounded, which is leaving your actuator on all the time.
