What about these specs: 228/228 581 115? I am interested to know about idle quality and performance gains. Thanks.

I'm not sure I can help but that sounds like a pretty small cam. I guess I need to know the specs of the reg. C6 cam. Is the 228 degrees at lash or at .050 lift? Is 115 deg. the lobe seperation? If so, that's quite wide and would tend to smooth out the idle and may take a little away from the bottom end power (but then again, I'm not sure what the Vette induction system likes). Again, I don't know the stock specs but .581 valve lift is respctable on a small block with a 1.5 rocker ratio.
I'm sure the Vette mechanics who can compare this to stock, can give you a better opinion.

The stock cam is really small. Something like 217/217 117lsa. That is a guess as I have seen it before listed on another forum but it is pretty close. The idle is my concern as my C6 is my daily driver so I don't want anything that will give me a bad idle. I have FAST Intake and kooks headers so far and am looking to do a cam swap. Thanks.

Are you looking for a cam recommendation??
With your mods. I have a good cam choice for you.
COMP Cam #XER273HR 224/230 114lsa I/E Lift .581"/.588"
The part number is 54-444-11 is not a huge cam with a bad idle, but a real nice improvement over what you have with a good power gain.
