Default Drain holes under wiper panel...black holes?

While attempting to repair the wiper panel I've dropped several bushings, a bolt, a screw, and more down the drain hole on the passenger side (the one all the way to the right that seems to disappear in front of the pass door jamb.) Does anything get out of there alive or is it all gone for good? I sprayed a hose down there and all that came out was water. Also it isn't clear where the water comes out. It doesn't seem like there is any access to it. And all the stuff that fell in there didn't come out with the water.

Thanks,

Matt

you might want to check in behind the kick panels under the dash, should be 2 screws holding them on,at least there is on mine.

good luck!!!

If you pull off the kick panel on the right side there should be an actuator there that controls recirculation v. fresh air. Pull out the actuator and you will have access to the bottom of that area.

That black hole sucks things in. That is why the mid-70s had a screen across there to trap and keep things from falling down there.

Been there, done that. I've got a 6" 3/8 drive extension somewhere down there on my '68.
