UPDATE! Corvettes United Show-Shrewsbury, MA

The June 4th Corvettes United show in Shrewbury, MA is being postponed to its rain date of Sunday, June 11!!

For those of you who may be attending the Back to the Beach weekend in Maine, special arrangements have been made for you to have a very early breakfast so you can leave Old Orchard Beach in time to make it to this show!!!

There is now talk about organizing a caravan next Sunday, June 11, from Old Orchard Beach, ME to Shrewsbury, MA for those who want to attend the Corvettes United show at Hebert's Candy Mansion.

Due to the bad weather we've been having, Corvettes United had to postpone their show to June 11, and many who would normally go to their show will be at a "Back to the Beach" weekend in Maine. By caravanning to Shrewsbury on Sunday morning, we'll be able to support both events!!

One of the worst things that can happen to a club is to have a show cancelled due to rain. This is compounded for the Corvettes United club this year because so many are going to be at another event in Maine on their rain date. I would like to see many of our New England people make it to Shrewsbury on Sunday morning to support the show!

Pass this along to anyone you know who is going to Old Orchard Beach, and more will be discussed at the beach event. I've made up directions to Shrewsbury from Old Orchard Beach and will be bringing copies to distribute next weekend.

I'd take you up on your offer, but I've got some things going on this Sunday before the show and I'm sure I'll be scrambling all morning, so I'll have to meet you at Hebert's. My neighbor will also be going (with his 2003 AE) as will our wives, but they'll be taking my wifes Jeep - at least that's the plan right now!

not a problem. i talked to Todd last night and, depending upon the weather, there is chance he is going to show up for the show as well. He and I are going to meet up at the Dunkin donuts around 0900-0930 Sunday. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather.

It was nice seeing some CAC folks at yesterday's Corvettes United rain date show!! And what a great day it turned out to be after such a dreary weekend. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to attend.:)
