Default Seat Belts & Harness

My 73 had no belts in it when I bought the car and I have added some old lap belts to keep legal. I want to install a set of seat belt/shoulder harnesses in the car and was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of the after market kits. Like to keep the cost down a little but still have a quality product.

i was just looking for the same thing and this place looks like they got a good price ($100 for the three point harness) and ive heard many people mention good things about them.

$500 seems too much to pay for seatbelts from ecklers/mad

Rik's Corvette Parts has many belts for 73, not original but licensed repops. Some around $145 each with retractor. Some shoulder harnesses also available, but get real spendy fast.

A lot of people have been using the 3-point system out of the rear of a late model F-Body. Apparently it is a fairly simple bolt in swap.

I installed 93' rear seat F-body belts in my 71' Vert. Cost 25 bucks on eBay. Color choice is limited. Installation took 1 hour since seats had to be removed to get to the inner belt mounting bolt.

This might help you.
