Default C4 'Vert Icons

I have heard rumors on several occasions that C4 'Verts have 3 icons stamped into the fiberglass in the trunk area. They are supposed to be a hotdog, baseball glove, and an apple pie. American icons, like the Corvette. I am wondering if this is true?

If so, does anyone have pics?

Jason

That was an advertising slogan in the 1970's. Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet. As a kid I had a shirt with that on it.

I heard if you drive slowly, backwards, you can faintly hear, "Paul is dead".

I was just browsing CF, and evidently this is true. Someone met Gordon Killibrew at this years Cruise In, and asked the same question. These icons are located on verts under the rear carpet, and an American flag is in the fiberglass under the decklid.

That's funny. I haven't heard that in years, but I think it went right over some peoples heads. Was that supposed to be the Abbey Road L.p or Sargent Pepper?

Okay, so I'm a smart-a**; and an old one. I think it was from Revolution (#9). The "Walrus is Paul" was from The White Album?

Well guys, I tried to check the icon thing out yesterday, but there are too many things to remove (panels, etc. ) to be able to see the bare fiberglass, not worth it. So I am gonna try driving slowly, backwards, and see if I can hear "Paul is dead".

Under the rear carpet, I will surely check. I dont think anything would keep me from getting to it under the deck lid.

Ezmunie, is that car currently on Ebay??
