Now that I've slept and have a few minutes to give a couple more details....
A day later, and I still haven't gotten over the feeling of seeing the new camaro. I swear I had the feeling looking at it, that it was a living best of some kind and I kept waiting on it to get up and walk around on it's own, or turn to look at you. I know some of the changes to it will slightly change the lines on the car...assuming it does finally hit production...but they shouldn't be too much different. I would have had more pictures, but the batteries in my camera died, put the camera in my pocket and by luck they gained enough life for when I stumbled across the 62 vette and then one last one of the camaro when I went back and they'd closed the hood.
The Z51, if you didn't notice (and now you're going back up the page to look again aren't you?)...see the silver thing on top of the motor? Can you say...blower! This car also had a subtle flame job painted on the hood that I thought looked very nice, I'll post a pic of that too. The flames actually show up more in the picture than they do in person, due to the sun at the time I didn't think I was going to be able to get them to show up at all.
The 62 that I put up a picture of, was kind of an accident. We'd left the show to go eat at Outback, my camera happened to still be in my pocket, and on our way through the parking lot I was like....dayum!!! Look what's sitting right in front of the restruant! I told one of my friends "I thought we left the car show?" lol I was able to get a couple pictures of it before the batteries died and it shut off again, while I was taking them though, the owner saw what I was doing and came out. Very nice guy to talk to, enjoyed meeting him, you can find more pictures of his car at
www.62vette.net, oh yea, before I forget...daily driver! Beautifully restored car, although not kept original...and where's our license plate fan, I have a pic of his plate for ya's!
Enough of my rambling,
