just ordered my 3.54 gears for my 90A4 have 3.07 now. can you guys that have done swap answer ? am I in for a big suprise or not, thanks geo

youll NOTICE the swap will change both the rpm range and low speed accelleration but you won,t be shocked at the change, its only in the 15% range

I went from 3.07 to 3.73 and was not happy, as the engine ran out of revs too quickly. After the new motor and broken 3.73s, I like the 3.54s much better. This new gear set also has two teeth in contact vs one with the 3.73s, for added power handling.

Granted, the L83 quit pulling in the mid-4s.
