Even though I am retired, I still work a bit consulting, and unfortunately I had to work all day Friday.
Which didn't leave me any time to spruce up the Vette for the local Cruisers car show here in our little town of Southport NC, so I didn't enter.
But my wife and I went to look, and there was a trophy just for "Best Corvette" and there was almost no competition. Just a common C5, some fairly beat up C3s and a kinda decent C2. I coulda been a contenda!
