My Corvette(s):
One owner unrestored Black 1962 FI Corvette
Default My 62, Only one of 10 built

I just checked the C1 Corvette registry under 1962`s and by it`s serial # 107512 found out that only a total 10 persons ordered a new 1962 with the RPO`s that I did. What i`m wondering is that how many of those 9 others can say after 44 years they still own the Vette they ordered. Interesting, isn`t it.

Was it only 1 of 10 with that specific combination of RPO's, or just 1 of 10 with a specific RPO? Like "(18) L-88's ordered"...

well, my '65 is ONE of ONE!!
It's the ONLY '65 vette with it's particular VIN #............

sorry Wally, I couldn't resist.
Actually, if your care is that rare because of the combinations of RPO's that pretty neat by itself but add in that you are the original owner that makes it definitely more special as far as I would be concerned and most likely a true ONE of ONE car when you factor that in

Just the fact that you are original owner of a 44 year old car is pretty cool

BTW...yeah, that's pretty cool! You've owned your car longer than most of us have been alive! Congrats on keeping a piece of American history intact!

Wally, That is really cool. No body ever keeps anything that long, not even a stamp collection. Never mind a gem like a 62 FI Vette.

I always had the blown gas AA Altereds and AA Roadsters under control. But those damn AA Fuel Roadsters were real animals, a couple of times I only had one rear wheel down. The other 3 were hanging up in the air. But thanks, I only used the Vette to haul the race cars to the strip, no track time for the Duece Vette. Sure glad I kept it
