Chevy is looking for the most dependable, longest-lasting trucks on the road.
So, if you have a full-size Chevy pickup with over 200,000 miles on it, you’re
invited to join the Silverado 200,000 Mile Club. And, because the
odometer tells only part of the story, in the weeks and months
to come, we’ll celebrate some of these long haulers
as well as the everyday heroes who drive them.

The company i work for has a 98 and 99 WT's 200,000 plus. And they run very well. But i have to say that they have a 90 Dakota 4x4 with 300,000 plus. I think they all make decent trucks.

I've got about 180k on my 96. I guess I'll be eligible in a couple of years.

Well not to put a bad twist on this , And this coming from a 100% gm home every car in my household (all six of them ) are GM

I have a 2003 silverado that is not holding up so well and I highley doupt its going to last to 200,000 mile seeing that its only got 37,000. on it and the a.c stopped working on it again only now I have to fix it as its out of warrenty. The list of problems is long but I wont get into it, I am sure there are hundreds of the trucks from the seventies with more then 200,000 on them still out on the roads but if it a new one with that type of milage I am sure they have had the majority of there componets replaced,It pains me to make this statement but I dont think they will hold up

My son has a '96 Z-71 ext.cab with over 230,000 mi. He bought it from the original owner with about 95,000 mi. on it. He has replaced the usual stuff, water pumps, starters, front end parts, etc. but the motor has never been touched and it still purrs like a kitten. He is not afraid to take it anywhere. Of course, he has kept up the maint. on it, which is the life of a vehicle.
