My Corvette(s):
1967 Marlboro Maroon Coupe, 1992 White Convertible
Default Master Cylinder Detail

Another little detail that needs attended to on the Coupe is the master cylinder. It's a rusty mess. Should I paint it, if so what color? Use the paste that we use on the cast exhaust manifolds. Or just wire brush it and get it as clean as possible?

What have the rest of you done, and/or what is correct?.................Griz

If you can find the rattle can from " OEM Paints " it is the proper color, and will not come off with brake fluid.

Right now I'm not taking it off the car, but I will keep that in mind for next winter's work
