Default Questions about attending Fun Fest

A couple of my buddies and I plan on going to the Motorworks Fun Fest this year, we have never been, so I am hoping to get some information. I know it will be full of corvettes to see and take pictures of but what else goes on? Types of intertainment and displays and can you see it in one & 1/2 days or will it take all three days. I plan on driving in from In and one is coming from Ark. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Thanks, I have checked the site out. I guess the real problem is I am going to meet up with a couple of buddies and this being the first ime for all of us, we really don't know what to expect. I am figuring on getting a room for two nights but they really don't know if they want to, being truck drivers on the road all the time nothing against truck drivers but they spend it seems a month or two in tthere rig, so sitting idle I think scares them. Me I can spend all day looking, I do know they have a concert and displays scheduled, but didn't realy know what to expect.

Fun Fest is Funtastic, but always hard to find a hotel room nearby.

That is one reason for reviving this post , so everyone can plan their trip and get a room . Last year we stayed at a little hotel called the Waldorf. One level , kinda old but it was clean and the rate was great. It is just a few miles west of the event and off the interstate a mile or so.

Those of you that are planing to go, don't forget to contact John Grawcock about the special CAC club parking .
Last year we parked with "another forum" and the parking was awesome . While 13,000 Corvettes were parking in the big field, we were parking right next to where it all happens. See you there !

This show is huge. If you intend to meet up with others on the grounds, you should all sign up for CAC parking, or all pull in together. It will be very difficult to find each other if you all park separately.

All fast cars are fun but, an old Vette is a work of art.
