Putting the pie aside until fall, I am addicted to both baseball and corvettes (and a good apple crumb pie, truth be told) with no help in sight. I am a red sox season ticket holder and want to invite any other CACers so afflicted to a game. I have 4 seats, so I can take 3 at a time. I live about 8 miles from the park so cars can be left here and we can use the daily driver to go in. If anyone is interested PM me and I will arrange some games.

Did I fail to mention---Yankee fans need not apply!!! Just kidding, if you can handle the heat take the ride to come see the best April team in the AL 2 years running. I only enjoy the view from way up here down to the lowly Yankees a very little bit as by September the dreaded evil empire is always in the hunt. Without pitching, however, post season propects are bleak in the Bronx but looking rosy, for the moment, in Queens. As to my generousity, the guests buy the beers and besides 81 home games is a s*** load so I thought it would be great to meet a few fellow vette nuts outside of vette gatherings.

You're welcome. My wife has a better arm than him, and unfortunately for the Yankees (yeah, right:) ) , that's a huge field to cover. Wait'll guy's are tagging from second and coming all the way around to score on those long outs to deep right center.:D

I saw those catches on Sportscenter the other day. If he gets a good jump, he can really cover a lot of ground out there. The last couple of years his skills seemed to diminish out there though - either that or he had several mental lapses. I've seen him misjudge a LOT of line drives that went to the wall in Fenway, that should have been outs. Those type of miscues in the house that Ruth built = inside the park home runs.:) Damn I'd hate to see that happen to Johnny!:D
Oh, did I mention he runs into the wall a LOT? And doesn't get up half the time?;LOL
OK...Red Sox fans....WTF is this? ...;LOL ;LOL ;LOL
