I saw one today - a Ruby Z :cool

Apparently it has a rough drivability issue - owner would only pay for an oil chane, not the repairs on the King :crazy

Last one I saw was in September, so it’s been a while for me.

“rough drivability issue”
That Z needs to be rescued!

Jughead,
My '94 had the luggage rack too. (See pix below). I love my C5 but I sure hate that I couldn't have it and my C4!

This is "Edgar", my Ruby Red all the way from Lynnwood, Wa. I bought it the last day of February, 2006. It has over 100,000 miles on it and as a true member of the "I own a C4 Corvette club" its OptiSpark has been replaced.

Edgar,

Did you try linking to a photo on your desktop?

There are a couple of options available to you. You can join a photo storage website (I post on Photobucket.com, some members here use Tinypic.com) and link to your photos in your posts. You can also upload attachments to your CAC account, though you're limited to file sizes.

Here is a quick instruction written by MsSchroder (Tammy) on uploading attachments to embed in your posts.

To upload a photo to the CAC:
Start a new post or reply to a thread.
Then scroll down to the additional options section and click on the Manage Attachments button.
You'll get a dialog box with a browse button- browse for the file on your hard drive, then click upload. Wait until it finishes....and you're all set.

It was taken from this thread:

Hope this helps.

Yep, that's Edgar. My wife calls it metrosexual because he's pampered more than hers. I say its because he's better looking than her Saturn.

BK - glad I could help! BTW - when you have time stop by the New Member forum and post a thread to introduce yourself and your beautiful Ruby. Click me (http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=40)

That will give more of our CAC members a chance to stop by and say hello.

You can even copy and paste the photo of your Ruby in your introductory post. :upthumbs

Great pics! Any initial reservations about using the lifts? I don't know if I could sleep at nights for awhile, wondering if I was going to hear a crash.:L I do envy you having a need for the lifts though.

I don't know if I could sleep at nights for awhile, wondering if I was going to hear a crash.:L no, no the lifts are awesome. after you assemble them you realise real fast how heavy they are & well built. i built my addition around the fact the lift's were going to be an integral part of the set-up. worked out great.

Here is my Ruby
I bought it a year ago - it has been parked every winter so I contend it only 7 1/2 years old. It has 32,000 miles on it. I am a former mustang owner that didn't know what I was missing! The Passenger pictured is my 93 year old father. When ever i visit him - he has an excuse to go to the store and pick up something (I wonder why).

I drive the car 100 miles round trip to work and back twice a week. (If the sun is shining. I will be this cars last owner.)

Hello there! First post here. I was checking out the Registry site, and someone mentioned this site. Looks like they are trying to breathe new life into the registry. I hope they do!

I normally hang out on the Guru site, but I can postwhore just about anywhere!

Here's Mine!

Factory Z06 wheels from an '02 and a Hurst shifter is about it for now. But probably more coming in the next couple months... or years.:D

Hi guys
Here is a pic of our 40th that just became our newest edition to the Bay State family. It is a ZR-1. We just traded it from its original owner who was from Long Island, NY.

I enjoyed looking at all the 40th pics on this thread for a long time and am excited to post it amongst such good company.

Hope you guys like it
