Seat Replacement in a 76

I have a 1976 Corvette that is mostly restored. I still have to do something with the seats. They're original. I'd like to replace them with C5 seats. Preferably power seats. Can anyone tell me if this is doable and how much work is involved? I'd also be interested in any info on finding the C5 seats. Thanks

I put later seats in my 77, and lost a lot of headroom
Only warning I could see, they were later c3 seats, hopefully someone who has tried later seats will shout out.

Here's a link to a search in the C3 forums for "C5" & "seats." Check out some of the threads in the search results, there are a few that appear to hit the mark.

JMHO, I like the 78pc - 82 seats better than my C5 sport seats. Only thing the 78-82s are missing is the sport seat options.
