Has anyone been involved with the rental of this track (http://www.tgprace.com/index.html)?

It is a 1.33 mile track that can be rented from 8am to 5pm for a Street Car / Ride & Drive. Seems like it would be an autocross type event.

The cost is $1200.00weekday or $2150.00 Fri, Sat or Sun and allows for up to 12 participants. There is a $100.00 surcharge for each additional car.

There is a maximum of 3 cars on track at one time with no aggressive passing or timed laps.

We would be required to have a minimum of 4 corner workers on the track while running.

Seems to me that if we could get 12 cars at $100 apiece that this would be a good deal. I talked with someone at an autocross yesterday who said that he got over 100 laps when his club rented the place out.

Funny you mention that, I was checking out their schedule just a few days ago.
I've been to the track many times to watch bike and gokart racing but I've never involved in renting it out, and I've never taken the car out on it.

That seems like it would be pretty fun and a pretty good deal. Don't they require ambulance service though?

Sounds like fun. I just need to check my ego at the gate and be sure I keep it on the track. I'm not insured for such shenanigans.

Looks like were down to $400 per person. I was nervous I was going to have to pay the whole $1,200 by myself. :D
