I was just talking to a Ford freak and I said that Cobras should never have been allowed to race in any kind of production category because they made so few of them.

I tried a Google serch to try to nail down production numbers from an authoritative source, but no luck. The Cobra clubs and Shelby American have nothing available like the multiudes of Corvette details.

It runs in my mind that is was about 100 a year or 500-600 total which is just a couple day's Corvette production back in the day.

Can any one help me?

I'm in a similar situation. If anyone can provide information it would be much appreciated.
