Bummer. But . . . a little fiberglass, a little bondo, a little paint . . . point is: you did not get hurt, so try to look on the bright side.
I have been in this situation where the cop "traffic accident expert" did not know his a** from a hole in the ground . . . he was NOT there and did NOT see what happened. Point is, you should take pictures, measurements, traffic flow, weather, etc, and be prepared to go to civil or traffic court and argue a solid and well-thought out case. If you approach it in the correct manner, you may win out, and SHE will have to pay for your rerpairs.

Man that sucks...
I had a woman 'bump' the rear of my car at a stoplight. She was looking down reading something and evidently eased off the brake and rolled into my Vette. I got out and looked for damage... she did not get out of her car and I thought she would run. There was only a small scuff that will easily buff out, so I waved her off and got back in. Shaking my head the whole time.
Dumba$$es really p|ss me off!!!

Bad news! Sounds like he may have a bias against peformance cars. Hopefully when you get her in court things will change. Don't you just love those random U-turns.
Keep your head up, it will all work out.

In Europe it is better to take the hit as long as the speed is slow. If you break your car avoiding an accident the damage to your car is your fault!
Last year on New Years day I broke both rt. wheels avoiding a drunk who was exiting a traffic circle going the wrong way! He hit the car behind me that did not swerve into the curb as I did. The drunk’s insurance fixed both his car and the car he hit. I got nothing… 2 sawblades go for about a grand in Europe. Happy New Year.
